mEET OUR PARTNERS AND COLLABORATORS

Infosys

The Project: Working with Infosys and some of their key clients (Nestle, Kraft, Mondolez etc) - perform critical exploration of supply chain vulnerabilities during unforeseen externalities (e.g. pandemics) and provide guidelines for a resilient supply chain network of the future.

Identify causes of information asymmetry in the supply chains

Evaluate potential solutions to ensure supply chain resilience

Provide guidelines/ recommendations for national policy creation on agro supply chain (food assurance)

Indigenous Food Project

About: Local Indigenous botanicals, often called bushfoods, are a growing trend in the Australian and international market. They are increasingly seen in food and beauty products on supermarket shelves, and in Australia’s top restaurants. While many of these products include Aboriginal inspired branding, very few are Indigenous owned (between 2 – 5%). Through the use of blockchain technology, we can create all Indigenous supply chains, each with unique and engaging stories for customers.

Objective: Develop a simple blockchain application Qeeap Chain that demonstrates provenance of an indigenous food product.

AEM Algorithm

About: AEM is the next generation of accounting system, which is built specifically for blockchain. AEM focusses on financial process innovation and provides first fully automated accounting system for alternative currencies. Seamless conversion of transactions to equivalent monetary value means that data can be easily extracted into any accounting software package or custom edited by the user. In this way financial reporting becomes streamlined and effortless.

The Project: Journaler is a web-based application used for reconciliation of cryptocurrency transactions to capture their monetary value at the time of the transfer in line with accounting standards. The first version of the system has been integrated with NEM blockchain. Subsequent iterations will incorporate more blockchains and cryptocurrencies.

Silc Group

About: SILC is a specialised financial solutions provider with an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) that services wholesale private, commercial and institutional clients.

Cascade Chain

About: Cascade Chain is a new start up business that aims to develop a platform that secures construction funds and streamline payment processes to ensure everyone involved in the supply chain receives payment on time and within contract.

The Project: To develop a cloud based, blockchain based solution that facilitates secure, on-time payments to contractors, subcontractors and suppliers within the building project supply chain.

Simply Secure

About: Simply Secure are a company that help practitioners design technology that centres and protects vulnerable populations. We provide capacity-building, research, and community for designers, researchers, and developers. Our expertise covers privacy, security, transparency, design ethics, and more.

The Project: Developing a toolkit for Trust modelling. Trust modelling is a new concept that aims to provide technology designers with practical ways to design technology around the concept of trust instead of threat.

National film and Sound Archive (NFSA)

About : The NFSA is Australia’s living archive with over 3 million items across film, radio, television, music, documents and artefacts in both digital and analogue formats.
